Usually can call for an appointment and get one the same week.
I've been a patient of Dr Hammett's for over 5 years. He's an excellent doctor. Very easy to talk to & he listens to what you have to say. He's super easy to make an appointment with. I've never had to wait more than a couple days & it's usually the next day. I've moved across town but still go back to him when I need a doctor.
I've been going to Dr. Hammett for a couple of years. He is a down to earth kind of person that will listen to you and doesn't seem in a hurry to get done with you. Office not fancy which is probably a good thing. His staff is friendly.
Orders necessary tests but not unneeded tests.
Office adequate not impressive.
*Disadvantage* he doesn't have an answering service outside of business hours. If you have a problem that truly needs attention, even if it is related to treatment he is doing, you'll have to go to an urgent care center.

Personable - doesn't seem in a hurry - looks at you and not the chart or exit door. Will spend time to explain without making you feel like he wishes you'd shut up and be like a lamb going to slaughter
